Here are a few videos I quickly collected that I directed and produced while at iHeartMedia. Many of the videos were produced in a matter of hours and I am working daily to perfect my storytelling skills through multiple digital mediums.
Mostly because I believe with just like with anything…it’s all about the story that sells the experience.
Check out a few of the videos below and feel free to check out more on my travel blog.
(I just recently opened up my accounts privacy on social media and started capturing some of my adventures)
Expanding Our Brand Through Radio Bits
How do we keep radio and our station branding fresh? We create moments that make our listener say “OMG! That is incredible”. That has always been my main quality in which I bring to radio. I create moments that connect listeners to our brands. This is one of the moments I helped create.
Top And Bottom Conversation Facebook Post
I always thought to myself “Wouldn’t that be incredible if you can have two individual posts communicate with one another. Perhaps two characters throwing banter at one another.” That mindset led to the creation of this promotional ad. It’s basically a tall video on Facebook and when Facebook users scrolled past my characters begin to interact with one another.
Experimenting with Green Screen 360
Unfortunately I only had about 3 hours to work on this concept, but I wanted to try something new and fun. The quality isn’t as great as I hoped, but the test served successful with over 7,700 views on a standard Facebook post. People found it cool that they could turn their phone to the left and right to follow the conversation. The real challenging part was timing out each individual script to work in sync with one another.

Quick Experience Video with Talent
Multiple Sponsor – Listen to Win Cash Contesting
Corporate gave us a quartly allowance of cash to give away during morning show time slots and they were looking for unique ways to generate listening appointments. Here are a few of the videos I directed and produced above. My goal was to create micro commercials that made people smile and I believe I succeeded just at that. I scheduled the posts out for an afternoon launch and teased the listening appointments for the following day.
The video impressions were off the charts and this translated into amazing ratings for the quarter.
Dad Bod Contest
I had a lot of fun coming up with the creative concept behind our #DadBod contesting. The content was in collaboration with McDonalds (still not sure how they were on board with it :X) and majority of the McDonalds mentions were just on the social post + on the contesting page.
One video alone reached over 600,000 people on Facebook and we received hundreds of entries. Overall it was a very successful campaign!
